hello

Hi I am sorry i havn't posted for a litle while, i just don't know what to write sometimes..
Last night we (me the kids and my ex partner) all went in to see Harry Potter, just like we have done with every other Harry Potter film (kids are now 20 and 22) but still can't wait for the next 2 films...... The film was good but as usual they missed a lot of the book out, (like his funeral, along with other bits) but i still managed to cry like a baby, I know if they put everything into the film we would be there for days but there are some things you just should not miss out......

We also seen an advert for another film we are waiting for with baited breath....... New moon, the second in the "Twilight" series of books (the books were amazing) Well the advert has put my very stubborn (bless her) daughter off seeing the film alltogether, It showed you 3 of the main, in your face, moments of the book.. (three of the bits that tells you so much) three of the bits that takes up at least half of the book, in a few minutes advert... The film does not come out untill November so she could not even avoid it, especially when they go into the cinema once a week....... But i am looking forward to the film..

So today (after the cinema visit) with my fibromyalgia i am finding it very difficult......... I have a bad pain in my neck (lol but i mean it), a worse pain in my lower back, and my hips feel like i have had my legs in the air all night (lol again).......

favorites on my shops

I have just been posting about this on folksy.. In folksy i have reached 100 people who have marked me as a favorite, but i have only had 2 sales... This i find strange as i favorite so i can find the shop quickly, too keep up with what they are selling, or because i want to buy something soon, when my money comes in..... That sort of thing......
On my Etsy shop i have 78 people who favorite me and no sales at all....... On here if you find a shop you like and maybe want to buy from in the future you have to favorite it or you will never find it again, it is so big......
I have bought from quite a few shops on both and go back (sometimes too often as far as money is concerned) regularly, but when you find items yu like you have to don't you.........

hi for today

Hi everyone I am not feeling to good today......
I just thought i would share it with you.......lol.....
I had the Dr yesterday, I had to get blood test done because of the amount of pills i take for my fibromyalgia (the amount and the type).... To help you understand i take a lot of pain killers but i am still in a lot of pain... I take a lot of others too... from morphine to paracetamol....
I am on 9 pills in the morning 6 lunch time 6 tea time and then 9 at night again....... 30 pills a day, i should rattle......
So after blood tests were done she said my gama gt (or something similar, or it might be nothing like that at all) was a little high..... normal is 30 i am normally about 40 (from old tests) but the test results said i am now at 102 (as she said a little high)......lol.......
So i have to go back and do the tests again in 2 to 3 weeks... see if it has gone down any. If not it will mean more pills........... I am very tired today after my trip to the Dr. yesterday, also the fact that i didn't sleep well last night.....

oh my god i was listening to an advert, you must have heard it, the one about breast milk protecting the child from other kids sneezing and coughing..

The stupidist statement ever in an advert she said "and if you decide to move on from breast feeding, you know your child will be protected" hopefully you would decide to move on...........I am having awfull visions yuk ... yuk.. ...yuk.. David Walliams in bitty in that programe with Matt Lucas .......yuk........

Hello and welcome to D'z jewells
I would like to say thank you for taking the time to read and visit my blog..
I was not very sure what i am ment to do with this sort of thing (ie blogs etc)
but i think that always trying to sell you something is not the way to go
So today i am just going to type, telling you some things about me, here goes

10 things you did not know about DonnaMarie from D'z jewells
1.... I am 44 years old
2.... I have 8 tattoos and i am looking for my next one
3.... I was given an emergency hysterectomy at the age of 25
4.... I got my belly button pierced about 6 years ago
5.... I have been married twice and i have been separated from my second husband for 11 ish years, but i cant find him to divorce him...
6.... My son (of 20) was a twin, and his twin was still born
7.... I am a very, very good hair stylist
8.... I had a duodenal ulcer for 7 years before i was operated on to sort it out at 14 years old
9.... my children are my life and i love them ssssooooo much
10.. my fibromyalgia is so bad some days i can not lift my head up off my pillow, I have not had a pain free day in more than 5 years......

I have mixed up the information so you are not always going oh my god or i feel sorry for her or laughing for me, i hope this was ok?? I did not think i would find 10 things to say but once i was started i found it quite hard to stop.....

some new things

I have been having problems making cards for men, i have had 5 male birthdays in my family in the past 4 weeks and i was not sure what sort of things to do...

I had 2 under 10 years of age so they were easier to deal with, but older men are not so easy (for me)

What do you think of my tie cards?? I have done these since all the male cards i needed have passed, i prefer the stripey one with the robot tie pin, it is cute....

The cards i have i would be quite happy to get, what about you????

The get well soon card has a washing line with 2 pairs of lady's pants and a pair of men's boxer shorts, inside the card it Say's " sorry to hear you are feeling pants........."

birthdays

It was my daughters 22nd birthday yesterday and it is my sons 20th today, and they both went away on holiday yesterday so i had to celebrate it on my own.....
But they will be having fun, Dana is at T in the park and Michael is now on a boat in Norfolk broads...........

I love my bairns sssssoooooooo much, they really are the best kids anyone could ask for (but i am a bit prejudiced)

The swap

I have got so much ideas that i am going to do with some of the box, but I have not got a clue what i am going to do with certain things. But i am still working on it..............

I got a pack of eastern treasures variety paper which has more than 50 sheets in it, it has some awesome pages in it.......also some design letters (which is also in this first picture) they are like the very first letter of an old book (Kerli designed them herself, she is a VERY talented lady)


There is also 3 packs of colossal boarders and 6 by 6 pieces of paper from paper mania, they will be very useful in my card making. This i would think would be the reason the box was so heavy (it must of cost a fortune to post)


There was a parcel of Christmas cards, post cards, nice pack of envelopes, and 3 hand made cards by Kerli her self, One of which just happens to be her avatar (which i feel very privileged to own and will not be sending to anyone)


There is a cute organza bag of little charms for card making, some brooches (crochet flower, felt strawberries, 3 pins badges, a gorgeous bit of watermelon) and it also has earrings in it (6 pairs of dice, some beaded hoops) and it also has some felt bits for card making.......


I got a large tube of pringles full of re cycled wooden beads from a wooden car seat cover, and a tin of really gorgeous beads the colour of the sky on a really nice day.... also bugle beads to go with and some brown ones too..

I have a load of really cute tags recycled from old cards for me to use (they are very cute)

I had a book which when my son seen it he said i can take that bok with me on holiday and popped it into his backpack, so i cant even tell you a name, because i didn't get long enough to read it... But Kerli did write that she thought it was funny......

Now to the rest I got 5 sock knitting needles, some red wool, and some multi coloured wool which some of it has been made into coasters, and the rest is a ball....

I also got 2 balls of plastic novelty yarn which is recycled, I can not think of things to do with these last few things at the moment but as i said i am still working on it........ Kerli has told me the size of knitting needles i would need to use with the wool (but silly me i didn't even know needles had sizes) I know DUH........

So I am very happy with my swap and if you keep watching this space i will blog the things i make with the stuff as i make them........

Hi to all I am very confused with this blogging, and i hope i am doing it ok???
I tried to put photo's on to a thing called piccassa, but it was so confusing as i was trying to put my own photo's on and it wanted to put on from the web.......
I don't know where all mine have gone..... hopefully they are somewhere on my laptop so i can find them again......
I have been trying to get followers i hope i don't sound like i am begging, i just want some people to tell me wheather i am doing it wrong or right... All your blogs i have seen look so personal but my one doesn't......
Sorry.....moan moan blah blah....

Help this is driving me nuts.....
