Hello people,
I am just home from being at The Buckie Farm in Bridge of Don in Aberdeen where we were celebrating my mums 70th birthday with a surprise meal with 14 of her family, she thought she was only going out with her best mate and her partner..... When she arrived we were allready at the table waiting for her, she started to cry (but that is mum bless her...)...... My son and daughter also had a 21st party (in fancy dress) so they came down to say hi give her her presents and a kiss and hug and then had to catch the bus into town......

We ate our meals and then they came with her cake she was beautifully mortified and everyone sang happy birthday, even the other diners, and the staff..... She really enjoyed it and so did everyone else........

I loved it but i was at the end of the table with all the kids for some reason, it could be that i just need to look at them and the stop what they are doing, but i'm sure that will stop as they get older........

Hello all

Hello everyone i am not very well at the moment so this is why i have not been on here so much..

I am thinking about openning another Folksy shop for the cards that i have been making, there are over 60 sitting here now so i am being over run by them....

They give me a lot of pleasure making them (but i also still enjoy making my jewellery) I have some which have earrings in them and also i have bag charms in some too, but most of them are just good old birthday, moving house, get well soon, anniversary, or thank you cards.....

I find mens cards are a bit more similar and you cant always say unique or one of a kind because there are limits to what you can put on or in them. But i particularly like the collar and cuffs, or the necktie cards for men, so far.. For woman i like the clothing and shoes and for the kids i love the gingerbread men.......

Hello i have had a bad time this past week or so, but it is slowly moving on... Both my children have been ill and with me being ill anyway, that makes for a very unhappy family.
My daughter does not live at home anymore (but that does not stop you worrying, in fact it makes me worry more) So i don't know when she is home safe from a night out, and she refuses to txt me and let me know when she is....lol..... I have been trying to do all the things i should be doing as a mum, but i am finding them very hard to do.......

I was at the Dr. the other day and she gave me a phone number for a councillor, someone who gets paid to listen to me moan...... So when i got home i had forgotten what this phone number was for, I phoned them and asked what it is they do, the lady on the other end of the phone said we give counselling to people who have been finding things a bit rough, I said can i make an appointment...... I thought she put it in a really nice way....So i will be assessed by someone and then put onto a waiting list....... I think that is terrible, she said it will take months for me to start seeing someone....... I could (hopefully) be all better by then......
The reason i will be seeing one is i am a bit depressed and i cry a lot, i used to cry to sad films or sad tv programmes, and obviously to sad events, but now you just need to look at me and i feel a tear, or i can cry if you speak to me on the phone, basically i cry for anything and nothing...... I think this has a great deal to do with my fibromyalgia, or it could have to do with my pills, or both..... But once i have been assessed we will know.........

I have to go now, so sorry if i have been boring you, if so just stop reading.....lol..... You will get the next sagga later so take care of you

I have become a proud member of handmade uk, although i am not 100% sure what to do, i am never the less very proud to be in it...

I had to apply to be in it, i think that is why i'm so proud.

I need to put my shops on as a link and my blog (as i have done it here) and hopefully it will help me to sell from my shops.......

I am having problems selling anything other than buttons, (but they are very very cute buttons)

If you can tell me what else handmade uk does i would be very pleased..

I don't know what i thought it was, but i didn't think it was another blog.......

I will be going through more of the members and making them friends, and hopefully they will befriend me too.........

Hi I am sorry i havn't posted for a litle while, i just don't know what to write sometimes..
Last night we (me the kids and my ex partner) all went in to see Harry Potter, just like we have done with every other Harry Potter film (kids are now 20 and 22) but still can't wait for the next 2 films...... The film was good but as usual they missed a lot of the book out, (like his funeral, along with other bits) but i still managed to cry like a baby, I know if they put everything into the film we would be there for days but there are some things you just should not miss out......

We also seen an advert for another film we are waiting for with baited breath....... New moon, the second in the "Twilight" series of books (the books were amazing) Well the advert has put my very stubborn (bless her) daughter off seeing the film alltogether, It showed you 3 of the main, in your face, moments of the book.. (three of the bits that tells you so much) three of the bits that takes up at least half of the book, in a few minutes advert... The film does not come out untill November so she could not even avoid it, especially when they go into the cinema once a week....... But i am looking forward to the film..

So today (after the cinema visit) with my fibromyalgia i am finding it very difficult......... I have a bad pain in my neck (lol but i mean it), a worse pain in my lower back, and my hips feel like i have had my legs in the air all night (lol again).......

So i will see you all again soon,
